Speaker Biography

Leita Hart-Fanta, CPA, CGAP, CGFM is the author of the McGraw Hill book Accounting Demystified and has taught non-financial professionals how to understand the language of finance for over 20 years. Her clients include Walmart, Dell Computer, Schlumberger, Valero Energy, Sandia Labs, the Navajo Nation, and The University of Texas. She has lead over 2000 seminars and conference sessions for CPAs, auditors and other professionals on over a dozen topics ranging from performance based budgeting to financial statement analysis to audit planning and reporting. She is the founder of Yellowbook-CPE.com, a website that offers self-study courses for auditors and Leita Hart Fanta CPA, a CPA firm that conducts peer reviews. She is currently writing a self-study book on internal controls.
